I love my "job!" I am fortunate to have a very supportive family. They have all come together and sacrificed a little (okay, maybe a lot!) so that I can follow my passion...photography! Why do I love it so??? Because I get to take pictures of people in their special moments in life; to be able to capture the heart of those moments and then create a beautiful keepsake that will last a lifetime....that's my aim for every person out there who choses to become a client!

Little tidbits about me:

* I LOVE sushi...I can eat a LOT of good sushi rolls, every day...okay, almost every day.
* I also LOVE Thai food...anything with basil in it will make my mouth water...oh, and curry too!
* I'm an exclamation point writer...I use a lot of them!!! ;)
* I have two beautiful children who push me to be a better mom.
* I'm married to a wonderful man who is a pastor of a church.
* I love the technical side of photography...okay, I'll admit it...I'm a gear junkie!
* I stay up way too late to get up at 6:30 am when my kids do....yet I do it anyways.
* I love the tropics; the sand, the sun, the waves, the snorkling, the scuba diving...the only things I wouldn't like are the mosquitoes!
* I love shoes! Mostly with heels since I'm pretty petite (notice I didn't say short!) :)

Oregon Wedding Photography | Engagement Session | Caitlin & Janai

The day after I got back from my Hawaiian vacation, I had the privilege of meeting with and photographing Caitlin and Janai. I had met Caitlin briefly a few months back but had never met Janai before this session; so, needless to say, I did not know this couple very well at all…but what a complete blessing it was to have two of the most pleasant and friendly people I’ve photographed! We started off walking around the University of Oregon campus and getting to know one another by telling our “love stories”. As Janai and Caitlin shared their story with me, I could see their love of being together become more and more apparent. The gaze they gave one another was just so full of admiration and enthrallment…it was beautiful. I am absolutely excited for them and can’t wait to share in their special day!
