Eugene Oregon Lifestyle Portrait Photographer | South Eugene Senior | Kelsea

As the colors of fall slowly disappear and the dreariness of winter sets in (yes, I think winter here is dreary unless it snows), I am so thankful that I got to meet Kelsea and take her portraits on such a beautiful day as we had. This day was anything but dreary. We were able...

Shannon P - Very interesting use of the off camera lighting in an outdoor setting. I like it! On images 7 & 8, I like 7, (the darker image). The black really brings out your subject! Between images 9 & 10, I like 9…for the same reason. Images 11 & 12…I prefer no strobe but only because I like the natural light. Overall, a beautiful job! Your friends are so right…your work is amazing!!!

Kelsea Lee - kim, i love these!! i can’t thank you enough for what a wonderful job you did. the experience was so much fun and the pictures are so great. i really appreciate how amazing this whole thing was. i think my favorites are the ones by the shed and the ones we took by the road.

Katie Anderson Photography - I like the processing on the right : ) And these photos certainly are not dreary!

Kim - The sun was going down pretty quickly during this session so the lighting was definitely changing…almost all of these images were shot with off camera lighting except for maybe two…but you’re right, Mel, I did make some of these look darker than it actually was…and I liked it. :) There’s that difference in what each photographer likes. :)

Taylor! Miss you, Lady. And thank you for your sweet comment.

Melanie Jade - PS. Except I love the lighting on the 5th and 6th/7th images, even though it’s strong, soooooo, hmmmmmm, just keep playing :)

November 20, 2009 - 10:58 am

Melanie Jade - Okay, I love that you are loving off camera lighting cause that can set you apart from so many other photographers out there right now, but I think it may be just a little strong, cause I want it to still look like day time and not night time. There is my input :) Love ya girly, you rock, and this senior is adorable!

Taylor b - Your work is AMAZING!!! You inspire me with every click of your camera :)

Eugene Oregon Wedding Photographer | Last Wedding of the Season | Jillian & Sean {Married!}

First off, I want to thank Jillian for being the most patient bride! I know it’s been a little bit longer than I thought, but one month, one week, and a day isn’t too bad… Jillian and Sean’s wedding was on October 9, 2009. It was a beautiful October day. Jillian and her bridesmaids got...

Bunn Salarzon | Photographer - These turned out great! Again, you rocked the family portraits! The sun was just not being nice to any of us that day, but you controlled it like the pro that you are. Kudos!

Oregon Lifestyle & Portrait Photographer | Senior Session | Elise

So, I’ve known Elise for quite some time now. She’s been coming to our church, helping with the younger kids, and participating in our plays among other things for a few years now…and I have to admit that I’ve never really talked with her much. Shame on me. Well, we finally got to spend some...

Bunn Salarzon | Photographer - I’m thinking the top three frames (with blue scarves) are Canon and the frame of her sitting on the bench plus the next two (with purple sweater) are Nikon? But, it’s also the lens combo on the body, too, that we’d have to consider.

Katie Anderson Photography - Kim – you aren’t switching to be a Cannon girl are you?? And I want to know which one’s were Cannon and which were Nikon! : )

Oregon Children’s Lifestyle & Portrait Photographer | 1st Birthday! | Sneak Peek

Okay, this is a special request for Daddy since he wasn’t able to be with us during this session. Here’s a look at little CJ “enjoying” his birthday cupcake! But first, I had to show you my favorite image from the day…. Doesn’t he look like he’s saying “Why I oughtta….will you get that thing...

Oregon Wedding Photographer | Featured Wedding | Patty & Matt {Married}

Patience is a virtue…that I’m teaching a lot of my September and October brides these days! Lol! Life has been crazy busy…I’m sure everyone’s in the same boat. With the seasons changing, school starting (which means volunteer hours for me), less daylight hours…and sickness all around, I’m a little behind with all my wonderful editing....
