If you are a regular visitor to my site, you may be noticing that my pictures have been looking different. Well, it’s true, they are different. I’m playing around with post processing and learning what I like and what I don’t about this world of the digital darkroom. There is so much a person can do to the images that come out of digital cameras these days…it can drive you insane! Not only that, I’m also confined to bed rest because I broke my left foot wakeboarding and had surgery, so I’ve been working on my non-calibrated laptop…which may also affect the results of what you see. So, let me know your thoughts, what you like, what you don’t like. Be honest because constructive criticism is one of the best ways I learn!
So with that, I want to show you a fun children’s session that I took prior to getting hurt. In the last post, I mentioned that I have met some wonderful families through my children’s school. Here’s another one of those families. Actually, Sean and Elise’s mom was my daughter’s kindergarten teacher! It has been wonderful to get to work with her once a week as my husband and I volunteered in the classroom; it has been even better getting to know her outside of the classroom. Thanks for the fun times!! Elise and Taylor have become great friends through school and sports. We are so looking forward to spending more years with you guys!
This session was taken all at my “portrait park”…my farm! I had been wanting my own kids to pose for me for pictures like these, but Sean and Elise were much more compliant. 🙂 If you want your portraits taken out here on the farm, don’t hesitate to call, book a session, and put in your request! Enjoy the preview.
