When I was in high school…many moons ago…I lived in Hermiston, Oregon. Hermiston was a pretty small town with a little over ten thousand residents. My graduating class was 237 or something close to that. I think I was considered somewhat of a nerd/athlete. I was studious, but also played tennis and did some spring board diving. My family was kind of known as the “tennis” family in town. All of us, except for my mom, played tennis. We had lots of fun with it.
Anyways, all that info was to kind of segway into Nikki’s senior portrait session. Nikki will be graduating in a few weeks from Marist High School. This weekend, Nikki will be playing in the State Tournament for doubles in tennis. Nikki and her partner are the area’s district champs!!! I loved playing doubles during my younger years. It was a faster pace and you had a partner that you could depend on, at least you hope! I was a much better mixed doubles player…loved mixed doubles! Anyways, good luck to you this weekend, Nikki. I know you’re gonna slam it! (Not sure if that lingo is still used…I’m old, I know.) 😉
Here are some of my favorites from the beautiful day we had at Hendricks Park.
