First off, I want to thank Jillian for being the most patient bride! I know it’s been a little bit longer than I thought, but one month, one week, and a day isn’t too bad… 🙂
Jillian and Sean’s wedding was on October 9, 2009. It was a beautiful October day. Jillian and her bridesmaids got ready at the Valley River Inn, which has a soft place in my heart because that’s where I stayed with my bridesmaids the day before I got married; also the place where I got ready and where my reception was…almost exactly seven years ago (September 29, 2002). We met Sean at Alton Baker Park for their first look and pre-ceremony portraits. Family portraits and bridal party portraits were also taken there. The ceremony took place at Emerald Bible Fellowship on Cal Young. Then we were back to the Valley River Inn for the dessert reception. Here are some of my favs from their day…
Yes, those are red leather pumps…hot!
Jill chose Mikimoto pearls to wear with her beaded dress….nice choice…beautiful! I love pearls…especially real ones! I had a little fun with them and the great fish that was in the room. 🙂
By the time the ceremony was done, it was already dark. We decided to play with some lights to see if we couldn’t get something unique…
And now, the dessert reception….and the cake! I love this cake!! Hey, I don’t think I actually got to eat any of the cake or dessert…dang, I missed out, I’m sure of it.
And then the dance…
Congratulations, Jillian & Sean!
AND, I will not forget to mention that I had the help of the wonderfully talented Bunn Salarzon. Thank you so much, Lady!!! You’re awesome and I love ya!
These turned out great! Again, you rocked the family portraits! The sun was just not being nice to any of us that day, but you controlled it like the pro that you are. Kudos!
